The SJ 6826 RT offers the same industry leading rugged, robust, and reliable design features that have made Skyjack famous. Equipped with an exclusive Crossover Symmetrical 4WD system for superior traction, and featuring 50% gradeability, this machine can operate on the most challenging job site terrain. The SJ 6826 RT is also drivable at full height with the roll out deck fully extended, and the low stowed platform height is ideal for loading tools and materials.
Standard features include an easy to use 5’ roll out extension deck, which can be secured in multiple positions for increased platform space and improved reach capabilities. With easy to service and low maintenance design features, the SJ 6826 RT utilizes Skyjack’s standard color coded and numbered wiring system with analog based controls.
Skyjack’s new A-SERIES Articulating Boom has been engineered utilizing many of Skyjack’s robust and reliable design features. The A-SERIES boom lifts are available in two configurations featuring the 46AJ model with jib or the 46A with no jib. Both models boast an industry leading, standard equipped, 360 degree continuous turret rotation. Zero tail swing compliments the turret design allowing for flexible operation in tight locations.
Superior positive traction and terrainability is provided by the axle based 4WD used in many of Skyjack product designs, which accounts for a proven low maintenance, rugged and reliable drive train. The AJ’s are equipped with a rear axle hydraulic differential lock/unlock switch allowing the operator to lock the rear differential when negotiating rough terrain. The unlocked position improves turning radius and reduces tire marks on hard surfaces. Rounding out some of the other key features include; direction sensing drive and steer controls, true vertical rise with riser function which prevents drifting forward or backwards, analog based controls and Skyjack’s standard color coded and numbered wiring system.
Skyjack’s world class product designs provide the best possible value and lowest life cycle costs through unsurpassed reliability and ease of service. The SJ 40T and SJ 45T boom lifts make no exception to these philosophies, offering proven design features such as Skyjack’s standard color coded and numbered wiring system with analog based controls.
The SJ 40T and SJ45T also feature Skyjack’s exclusive DIRECTIONAL SENSING DRIVE AND STEER CONTROLS, which ensure the boom lift will always drive and steer with respect to the operator rather than the orientation of the chassis. The axle based 4WD system offers unsurpassed traction and terrainability; using a ‘Detroit Locker’ type differential on the rear axle and limited slip differential on the front oscillating axle.
